"My son has special needs, and as a result did not get interested in team sports until middle school. His challenges included physical coordination and general athleticism, as well as social coordination and dealing with intense situations. When he finally got interested in sports, he was well behind others his age. We had tried another basketball coach, but it hadn't gone very well. We needed someone who could adapt to my son, meet him at his level, and grow him from there. Coach Rob was absolutely perfect in this regard. He has great relationship-building skills, knows how to motivate, knows how to build skills incrementally, and still pushes my son and the other kids he coaches to move beyond their present level. He's a lot of fun to watch on the court and inspires kids to be more, to be better than they were when they walked in the door. His coaching and the basketball lessons we have had over the last couple of years are just as valuable as any other therapy we paid for in my son's younger days. My son may never be a pro - frankly I'll be ecstatic if he can just play a pick-up game with passable skills someday - but he is absolutely a better, stronger person with another avenue in life that I'm not sure many could have given him. For that, I am grateful. Whether your kiddo is a natural athlete or struggles mightily, Coach Rob will know how to make them the best version of themselves they can be. It's amazing what basketball lessons can accomplish..."

"Above The Rim Skills Development Program is ran by Rob Albritton and is a wonderful program to help an athlete develop their basketball skills at any level. I've only had the pleasure of knowing Rob and being a part of the program for about a year. My daughter has played basketball for eight years and at the beginning of her Freshman year of high school I came across a flyer for a clinic ran by Rob. We came to the clinic and it was apparent right away that Rob not only knew what he was talking about, but was also very passionate about teaching the athletes everything he could in two hours and at their level. Not only does he teach them the skills necessary to be a successful ball player physically, but he also builds their confidence and teaches about the importance of having a winning attitude and staying respectful. We have also had the opportunity to do a one on one lesson for an hour and gained so much information and support. She was exhausted after the hour but thankful for the help. Rob is one of a kind and anyone considering going to a clinic or lessons will not be disappointed."

"Coach Rob is amazing! He's very passionate and knowledgeable and you can tell how much he loves the sport of basketball. He's also patient which is very important to me. I can see such an improvement in my son's skill level since taking him to Coach Rob!"

I want to thank Coach Rob for being the best coach ever. I can’t thank you enough from what I’ve learned from you. You played me in positions and put me in scenarios I never thought I’d be in and it brought my confidence level to new highs. You are the best coach by far because you taught us it’s not all about winning, but rather giving 110% effort on and off the court. You never let any of us girls have a bad game or practice. We always walked out of practice laughing and smiling, while knowing we put in the work. And the games which we lost, you still pointed out the goods and did not harp on us for all we did wrong. You‘ve taught me so much for high school ball and I can’t wait. Thank you so much for 4 seasons of play with Rage.
